Omar Coughlin graduated with a first class BSc in Chemistry at University College Dublin in 2017. He completed his PhD in 2021 from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham in the field of main group organometallic chemistry. He entered into the world of forensic science in 2022 when he started working in Forensic Science Ireland (FSI). Omar is currently attached to the Fingerprint Section at FSI.
